Duties include preparation and maintenance of shock components, as well as documenting shock combinations and set up. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **include the following:**

* Builds shocks and stop bumps in an efficient manner under critical time constraints.* Uses shock dynamometer to adjust shocks to match desired specifications.* Utilizes database to record measurements and track component mileage for reference.* Assists Crew Chief in identifying the best shock and bump stop combination for testing and utilization during race events.* Assists in the management of parts inventory relating to shocks.* Other duties as assigned by managementAbility to operate and interpret shock dyno graphs. **Qualifications:** **Communication Skills:*** Requires ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively with other departments and organization team members.**Attendance Expectations:*** The position requires regular and predictable attendance.* Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.* Requires an ability to work a flexible schedule.**Physical Demands:*** Requires vision (near, distance, color, peripheral, depth), sense of touch, and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses.* Constantly manually manipulates, lifts/carries 10 pounds or less, and pushes/pulls 12 pounds or less.* Frequently stands, walks, reaches outward, bends, lifts/carries up to 20 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 25 pounds.* Occasionally sits, reaches above shoulder, squats or kneels, lifts/carries up to 50 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds.**Environment Demands:*** Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.* Accountability - Accept responsibility and account for his/her own actions.* Collaboration - Collaborates with other individuals and/ or departments to achieve a common goal.* Competitiveness - Willingness to strive to be the best and to finish projects ahead of schedule.* Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.* Detail Oriented - Pays attention to the minute details of a project or task.* Innovative - Ability to look beyond the standard solutions.* Multi-Task - Exercises the ability to work on several items simultaneously.* Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.* Project Management - Ability to organize and direct a project to completion.* Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.* Research Skills - Ability to design and conduct a systematic, objective, and critical investigation.* Self-Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.* Systems Analysis - Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.* Technical Aptitude - Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.* Troubleshooting - Determining the causes of operating errors and deciding the action to take.* Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks in stressful situations.Analytical Skills - Possess critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve a problem.
