Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technician Team Leader IV to assist production managers in supervising machining operations, optimizing resources, and ensuring quality and efficiency. This role combines advanced CNC programming and setup expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Job Requirements
Set up and troubleshoot CNC and manual machines, including lathes, vertical mills, and other equipment, to machine parts to exact specifications. Design and modify fixturing using various machines; solid modeling experience is a plus. Write CNC programs for new parts and processes; experience with Mastercam is a plus. Interpret and work from complex blueprints, solid models, engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances. Select and calculate proper speeds, feeds, and tooling based on material type, part configuration, and finish requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance and assist maintenance with repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical or quality issues. Mentor and support lower-level machinists, technicians, and apprentices, sharing best practices and training on safe machining operations. 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm What your background should look like
High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training, trade school certification, or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a job shop or production environment. 10+ years of experience writing and editing CNC programs. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and shop mathematics. Proficient with G & M codes, CNC program cycles, and feed and speed calculations. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience with SolidWorks, Mastercam, and/or Creo is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring tools; experience with CMM or vision systems is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with small features. Experience working with a wide range of materials. Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Competencies

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $63,600 – $95,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits. BENEFITS
