Description Bus Paraeducators Part-Time – AM shifts / PM shifts – 3 to 6 hours a day
Bus Paras assist with a variety of physical and emotional needs of students while being bused.
Duties include:
Ensure the safety and well-being of students while being bused.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be physically working on/in bus. Ability to lift and move students. Ability to supervise students. Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions appropriate to students’ needs. Ability/desire to work effectively with students with disabilities. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
