Overview
At Iverson Auto in Huron and Mitchell we are looking for a dedicated and quality-focused team member for our open role as Lube & Light Duty Technician.
Duties
Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay aware of rapidly changing technology.
Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
