Dining Services Aide - Part Time Day and Evening (Food Services)

Your Role As a Dining Services Aide, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, ensuring that residents have clean, sanitary, and organized environments to enjoy their meals. Assignments are made daily and will include a variety of responsibilities, such as:
Using large dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize glassware, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and other dining utensils to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Assisting with the high‑quality meal service, including dining room set‑up and tear‑down, meal prep, dessert preparation, beverage service, and other tasks as needed.
Assisting the kitchen operations by setting up and sanitizing designated working areas, stocking and maintaining kitchen supplies, and keeping the area clean and organized.
Requirements
Ability to lift heavy items, work around hot water and chemicals, and wear gloves during significant portions of each shift.
Dependability and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of residents and the dining services team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical capability to lift, push, reach, and move regularly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service to seniors.
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in this role.
Ability to understand instructions, respond to resident questions, and follow through with assignments using the English language.
ServSafe certification required within 10 days of hire. ClarkLindsey can assist with coordinating this process.
Benefits and Compensation The pay range for this position is $16.05 - $17.10 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
