Responsibilities
Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
Apply powder coating using spray guns or automated equipment, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish.
Monitor oven temperatures and conveyor speeds to ensure proper curing of powder coating.
Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of powder coating equipment and work area.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
Assist with other tasks in the finishing department as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience is a plus.
Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques.
Ability to interpret job orders and follow instructions accurately.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
