Job Description Chelmsford Public Schools Anticipated Long Term Substitute Grade 2 Teacher Vacancy. The District reserves the right to change or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position: Long-Term Substitute Grade 2 Teacher Location: Byam Elementary School Assignment Dates (dates are subject to change): 03/09/2026- 04/26/2026
General Description: The successful candidate will teach second grade. The position requires that the individual hired must have knowledge of the developmental level of second grade students and the pedagogy required to implement academic programs. Candidate will coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services; confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment; assist and guide ancillary personnel; attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.
Massachusetts DESE teacher licensure required.
