We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Meat Cutter
to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality meat products while maintaining food safety standards, product presentation, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Cut, trim, grind, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer specifications
Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all meat products (FIFO)
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety and health regulations
Operate meat processing equipment including slicers, grinders, saws, and knives safely
Package, label, and display meat products attractively for sale
Monitor product quality, freshness, and inventory levels
Assist customers with special cuts, product questions, and recommendations
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or Butcher preferred
Strong knife and band saw skills. and knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time or part-time opportunities available. May have to travel to another location occasionally
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Cold environment; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
