The Learning Experience® is hiring Full-time/Part-time at our center in Bay Ridge Brooklyn NY. We are currently hiring fun, bright, loving
Lead & Assistant Teachers
to educate and care for children in our
Infant/Toddler/ Twaddler/Aftercare
classrooms.
You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of the children in their care. Teachers are responsible for ensuring a clean, friendly, welcoming environment; ensuring the implementation of proprietary curriculum; ensuring the health and safety of the children in their care as well as effective communication with the children’s parents. Qualifications:
Currently we are offering positions in Infant/Toddler/Twaddler/Aftercare classrooms Lead & Assistant Teachers.
1 to 5 years of childcare experience working with
Infant/Toddler/Twaddler/Aftercare
in a classroom setting.
Minimum Associate's (AA or AS) or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or related field of study; or
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within 7 years; or
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); nine college credits in early childhood education or child development; two years experience caring for children, and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years; or
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); and a study plan that is acceptable to the Department leading to nine credits in early childhood education or childhood development within two years; and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years, if currently employed in a permitted child care service.
Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations. CPR and First Aid certification required.
Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily
Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents
Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete, and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Willing to attend staff/parent events and complete training classes as required by state regulations
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (2pm -6pm)
