Base Pay Range
$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Position Summary The IT Support Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide technical software, hardware, telephone, printer, and audio/video conferencing support to firm employees and guests. This role participates in a rotating on‑call schedule that may include after‑hours and weekend support. This position is fully onsite in our Los Angeles, California office, Monday through Friday. After one year of successful performance, there may be an opportunity to shift into a hybrid schedule at the discretion of management.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance.
Diagnose and resolve computer, application, and basic network technical issues.
Provide both in-person and remote support as needed.
Support desktop and laptop hardware.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with Microsoft Word documents.
Assist with videoconferencing systems and tools including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Troubleshoot VPN and internet connectivity issues.
Use imaging tools to build and rebuild computers for deployment.
Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Advanced technical education is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently as the onsite IT resource while also collaborating effectively with the broader IT team.
Excellent communication skills and patience when assisting users of varying technical skill levels.
Ability to record, track, correspond, and document resolutions to user issues.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in application support and troubleshooting, preferably in a law firm or corporate professional services environment.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Compensation Compensation for this position in Los Angeles is competitive and will be based on experience and other relevant factors. The target compensation range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Work is performed in a typical interior office environment.
Physical effort is required, including moving computers, connecting cables, and lifting computer‑related equipment.
