As a Security Officer – Medical Campus Patrol Driver

Tuscaloosa, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.
Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour Schedule: Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information while maintaining a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior.
Follow all protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management for the healthcare environment.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, or other site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
