With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.
Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required.
Apply primers, paints, and coatings to aircraft surfaces using spray guns, brushes, and other tools.
Ensure proper mixing and application of paint materials to achieve desired finish and durability.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of paint usage and inventory.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a painter, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge of various paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
