About You: We are looking for a
Shop Technician
who will be responsible for repairing and testing of customers' fire & life safety equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as an integral team member.
Compensation/Benefits: A competitive pay ranging from $21-$23 per hour. Responsibilities:
Follow NFPA and DOT standards
Repair and test customers' fire & life safety equipment, primarily fire extinguishers
Order and maintain stock/inventory
Comply with company and customers' safety programs
Maintain clean and productive work area
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Strong customer service, communication, and relationship skills
Must be extremely motivated
Ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in an exciting work environment
Mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Self-starter
