Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Operative to apply durable and consistent coatings to our sprinkler components. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, operating coating equipment, and maintaining quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare metal components for powder coating (cleaning, sanding, masking)
Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficientlyEnsure consistent and high-quality finishes on all products
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with standards
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe, and organised manner
Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials as required
Follow all health & safety regulations and company procedures
About You
Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or finishing in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to handle heavy components
Good time management and organisational skills
