Position Summary Primary functions are to: (1) Provide technical Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) support to Manufacturing, Distribution and Corporate Personnel; (2) assist in the development of EH&S programs and objectives; (3) develop and deliver safety training programs; (4) develop, implement and ensure maintenance of B. Braun and facility specific EH&S policies, programs and procedures through internal audits and/or risk assessments; (5) represent B. Braun in all public relations activities, external communications and USEPA/PADEP/OSHA regulatory compliance audits; (6) coordinate various employee activities.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

Assists in the development and implementation of programs that detect and prevent fraud, theft or other illegal behavior by employees or visitors.

Monitors behavior of employees or visitors on company property.

Investigates allegations of theft, fraud or other illegal behavior, interviews witnesses and documents findings. May act as a liaison with external law enforcement departments.

Provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a "lead" or first-level supervisor.

Develops and implements policies or programs meant to promote employee health and safety or environmental compliance.

Develops and delivers training programs educating staff on environmental concerns or health and safety risks found in the organization.

Ensures that training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports or other documentation are appropriately maintained.

Purchases and distributes personal protection equipment or other related supplies.

Monitors known health, safety or environmental hazards, such as noise, air or wastewater pollution levels.

Coordinates inspection of facilities, vehicles or equipment.

May develop and communicate facility-specific emergency response or evacuation plans.

Manufacturing and Construction EHS/S Experience

Industrial Hygiene Experience

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field; uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.

Works under minimal supervision; relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals; may periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower level employees.

Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.

Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers; frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required

Bachelor's degree required

06-08 years related experience required

Applicable industry/professional certification preferred

Occasional business travel required; valid driver's license and passport; ability to work non‑standard schedule as needed; on‑call hours as needed

Regular and predictable attendance

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am‑5pm

Target Salary Range is $81,392‑$101,740/yr + benefit + bonus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
