The East Rochester Athletic Program is recruiting for SpringCoaches. We are searching for transformationalcoaches who canconnect with our student-athletes and support them in developing their skills.
The following opportunities are available:
Modified Baseball,
Program Assistant Baseball,
Modified Softball,
Program Assistant for Track and Field.

Candidates should
Have strong leadership skills, a positive, education-based approach,
Have the ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts
Be able to interact with student-athletes of different ages and skill levels positively and professionally.
Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as staff are considered rolemodels for students.
Motivate and mentor student-athletes.
Coaching Requirements
A valid New York State teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another teaching area.
A Professional Coaching Certificate or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License.
Valid and appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at the time of appointment.
Willingness to complete the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and SAVE Workshops within the first year of coaching.
Willingness to enroll in and complete the Coaching Eligibility Program through the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES (585-352-2606) or Monroe 1 BOCES (585-249-7026) (or equivalent program)
