Waterford Public Schools has a vacancy for a team-oriented individual. We are seeking
Substitute Paraeducators District Wide for the 2025/26 school year
to assist students of all grade levels with special needs. Current college students or high school graduates seeking school-based experience are encouraged to apply. Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. Our district is actively recruiting qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds to promote an inclusive environment and improve educational experiences for all students. Our mission and strategic plan focus on engaging all voices to create an equitable, diverse community with
"One Team, One Purpose, Putting Our Students First!" The district includes three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The community strongly supports our schools, which rank in the top third of Connecticut's K-12 districts according to the Next Generation Performance Accountability System. The Board of Education is a nine-member elected body. Qualifications
