Front Desk Agent (German/Russian Speaker) Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts – Waldorf Astoria The Palm, Palm Jumeirah Road, Dubai (Aa01)
Work Locations Waldorf Astoria The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
Responsibilities As Front Desk Agent you will provide exceptional reception services from check‑in to check‑out, ensuring a memorable guest experience and timely resolution of inquiries.
Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Deliver an efficient reception experience, including check‑in/out and audit procedures.
Communicate relevant guest feedback to Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
Attend training courses and support the Night Team’s training and development efforts.
Show knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, promotions and product daily duties.
Maximize room occupancy and promote hotel services using upselling techniques.
Accept foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with hotel credit policy.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems.
Follow company brand standards and assist other departments as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a high‑end or luxury hotel or equivalent setting.
Proven track record as a Front Desk Agent or Receptionist in a fast‑paced environment.
Positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competent IT proficiency.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings.
Additional Requirements
Luxury hospitality experience in a similar role.
Fluency in German or Russian (both written and spoken) is required.
