Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified Hematologist to provide locum services at an inpatient facility in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a Hematologist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed for 2 weeks per month and ongoing.
Job Details:
- Case Types: Benign Hematology (Bread and Butter Hem/Onc),Follow-up and New Patient Consultations
- Setting: Ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic, Inpatient Facility
- Schedule: 2 weeks per month
- Patient Volume: Minimum 15 hematology patients per day (no oncology patients)
- Support: Nurses, Navigator, Admin Support, Pharmacy, 1-2 Physicians, APPs, Infusion Specialist
- Responsibilities: See patients, write orders and prescriptions, communicate with pharmacy
- EMR System: Epic (assessment required before start date)
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology and/or Oncology (double board preferred, must be BC'd in Oncology if seeing oncology patients)
- Active NC Medical License
- DEA License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
