Full‑Time/Part‑Time Responsibilities
Unrack the chair line and inspect chairs for flaws. Assemble chair parts according to work orders (attaching wood or upholstered seats and backs, adding feet). Pack each order accurately and on time according to work order specifications. Use hand and/or power tools to grind, sand, clean, and/or polish chair frames to correct defects or prepare surfaces for finishing. Using chisels, scrapers, and/or hand‑held grinders, trim, scrape or deburr parts. Sands all parts and wood chairs for daily work orders. Cuts wood parts to pattern as specified in work orders. Attaches upholstery to chair seats or backs using staples. Glue foam to wooden seats. Cuts vinyl to specification on work order. Assists with material handling of assemblies and finished goods. Performs quality checks according to quality standards. Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent preferred, but not required. Preferred but not required: at least 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have STEEL experience with grinders and other power tools. Functional working knowledge of general hand tools such as D8 sanders, routers, belt sanders, drills, staple guns, glue guns and others. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Must be 18 years or older. Benefits
Starting pay: $19/hour (based on experience) with pay increase after 90 days; paid weekly. Hours: Monday‑Friday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (five 10‑hour days). Additional mandatory overtime on Saturdays (8 hours occasionally). Total weekly hours 40‑58. Paid vacation: 2 weeks + 10 paid holidays + 1 week of paid sick leave after 90 days.
