Job Description Park Tudor is seeking an experienced, innovative, and highly collaborative middle school science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Full-time faculty at Park Tudor also serve as advisors to a small group of students each year and take on duties that support the life of the Middle School. The ideal candidate exhibits a willingness to engage in all aspects of the Park Tudor community while promoting and supporting the School’s mission, vision, and values and is someone who enjoys being part of a highly collaborative environment with engaged and motivated students.

Qualification Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in science or STEM related field preferred

Experience:

3-5 years previous teaching experience in a middle school setting required, and independent school experience preferred

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of best practices in science instruction (e.g. 3-Dimensional Learning/Project Based Learning/ 5E Model of Science Instruction)

Student-centered and highly collaborative

Seeks out feedback in order to reflect and improve

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

A growth mindset and a commitment to professional development

Proficient at using technology tools such as Google Suites, MS Outlook, Veracross, Canvas

Competency using computer interfaced sensors for data collection, such as Vernier technology

Willingness to lead or assist a club, activity, or athletic team
