Ballet Teacher – Part Time
At The Barre Dance Academy
Located in Rocky Mount, NC (around 45 minutes away from Raleigh, NC)
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Ballet Teacher to inspire and guide young dancers on their ballet journey. We seek a passionate individual with a strong ballet background and the ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels.
Schedule Weeknights in the evening (4-5 hours weekly)
Responsibilities
Teach ballet classes to students of varying ages and skill levels.
Inspire and motivate students through engaging and effective instruction.
Create choreography for recital dances for recreational classes.
Develop a strong ballet program for both recreational and competitive dancers.
Provide strong dance technique training for students starting as young as 4 years old.
Work with children with minimal existing ballet training and help them progress.
Requirements
Strong ballet training and background.
Experience working with children and a passion for teaching.
Ability to inspire and connect with students.
Experience choreographing recital dances.
Ability to work with varying skill levels and ages.
Bonus if qualified to teach pointe.
