Recreational Teacher (Part-Time)
At The Barre Dance Academy is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Recreational Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Recreational Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture young dancers in a supportive and creative environment.
Schedule Weeknights in the late afternoon/evening
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for recreational students
Choreograph age‑appropriate dances for our annual recital
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all dancers
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students
Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student development
Participate in studio events and performances
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in dance
Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor
Ability to connect with children and parents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for dance and teaching
Possibility to work with our Competitive Dancers in the future
