Job Summary ECTC is seeking Nurse Aide Instructors. Candidates must be a registered nurse with a current license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and a minimum of two years’ experience, including at least one year in the provision of long-term care services. They must have or complete the Methods of Instruction (MOI) training. They will instruct the 75-hour nurse aide course, which consists of lecture, skills lab, and at least 16 hours of supervised clinical training in a long-term care facility. They may also serve as an evaluator for the written and performance components of the Kentucky Medicaid State Exam upon completion of evaluator training. Current CPR and PPD results are required.
Responsibilities Instruct the 75-hour nurse aide course, which consists of lecture, skills lab, and at least 16 hours of supervised clinical training in a long-term care facility. Serve as an evaluator for the written and performance components of the Kentucky Medicaid State Exam upon completion of evaluator training.
Minimum Qualifications Registered nurse with a current license in Kentucky, at least two years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year in long-term care, completion of Methods of Instruction training, and current CPR and PPD results.
