Teach Now are looking for a Spanish teacher to work in one of their secondary schools in Palmers Green, on a full-time basis from March until July.
The role: You will be teaching Spanish across all secondary year groups and you will be responsible for the planning and marking. The role is to start in March until at least the end of the academic year and the successful candidate must be able to commit full-time as consistency is key.
The school: A secondary school in Palmers Green with an excellent training scheme and opportunities for progression. A supportive SLT who will support you in your role and make you feel part of the team from day one. The school is also known for their diverse intake of students and staff. The main spoken languages of students are English, Arabic, Greek, Albanian, Russian and Spanish.
The school are looking for individuals who have:
A Qualified Teacher Status
Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum
Ability to plan, teach and assess effectively a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
Ability to be creative and manage, motivate and inspire children
Ability to plan for and manage a team of support staff
Ability to liaise with multi‑professionals
Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on‑going attainment and growth
Able to commit for the duration of the placement
Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
Honest and compassionate
Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
