Eaton’s ES AMER ESS is currently seeking an Industrial Spray Painter – 1st Shift to join our team on Lincoln Ave. in Waukesha, WI.
The hourly rate for this position is
$24.50
per hour. The core hours are 5am–1pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You’ll Do The Industrial Spray Painter sands, cleans, masks, and paints all Terra‑Tran units, Power units, field returns, and fabricated components that require final finishing. All units must be painted before final inspection.
In This Function
Prepare surfaces for spraying, including bare metal and previously painted surfaces.
Identify which bushings and transformer accessories must be masked.
Check Bills of Material for correct color and specified paint thickness, record unit serial numbers.
Adjust and monitor pump pressures, heater and fluid temperatures to maintain optimal spraying conditions.
Check paint viscosity at shift start and mid‑shift using a Zahn cup.
Maintain correct fluid and air pressure in spray pot systems.
Inspect units to ensure no missed areas.
Change filters and keep spray booth floor clean on schedule.
Clean and lubricate spray guns at shift end; maintain personal respirator.
Procure paints from the Paint Room as needed.
Operate a 15,000‑lb electric walker to move smaller units into the spray booth.
Coordinate with crane operator for large unit moves.
Qualifications Required (Basic)
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Previous industrial, manufacturing, or automotive spray‑painting experience.
Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Waukesha, WI are considered; active‑duty military service members are exempt.
Preferred
Knowledge of industrial airless and/or air pressure painting.
Minimum six (6) months of industrial spray‑painting experience.
Skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Ability to be certified to wear a personal respirator.
