That’s the impact you can make as a meal volunteer at Hope’s Harbor!
As a meal volunteer, you will purchase the ingredients and prepare a meal for our guests. Whether you come as a family or with friends, coworkers, classmates, or teammates, preparing a meal for our guests is a meaningful and rewarding experience. You can choose to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner, either in our beautiful gourmet kitchen or by bringing food from a commercial kitchen or restaurant.
Volunteers typically cook for 12–15 people at our Lutheran location and 10-12 people at our Dupont location. We don’t require you to accommodate specific dietary needs, guests are always welcome to prepare something else from the pantry if needed.
Lutheran Meal Preparation Drop off times – Please arrive between the hours below to begin preparing the meal or to drop it off. You are able to stay after to enjoy the meal with the families and clean up: Mon-Fri: 9:00am - 7:00pm / Sat-Sun 9:00am-12:00pm & 4:30pm-7:00pm
