Resident Medication Assistant – Full‑time
Together with Noland Health Services, Inc., we’re looking for a dedicated Resident Medication Assistant to support residents with medication administration and daily care. The position is full‑time and available for 3P‑11P and 11P‑7A shifts.
Summary of Duties
Assist residents with medication administration.
Verify that residents recognize the medication name, date, and dose.
Confirm that residents have taken their medication.
Provide general care, including activities of daily living, as needed.
Notify manager or supervisor of any change in condition or discrepancies in orders, MAR, or medication packs.
Compare physician orders with the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
Document appropriately on the MAR/EMAR.
Assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents to/from beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs while using proper technique.
Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are met.
Assist in preparing and serving meals on time.
Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and care areas.
Perform day‑to‑day housekeeping tasks per work assignments.
Orient new residents to the facility.
Encourage and assist residents in participating in activities.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience Experience in resident/patient care preferred.
