Graduation from an approved program of Echocardiography with certification (ARDMS or CCI) Experience: Prior experience performing Echocardiogram testing is preferred. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Essential Job Functions
Uphold and demonstrate “We Care” values. Interact professionally with internal and external customers. Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as ordered and ensure appropriate documentation. Explain procedures to patients to assure cooperation. Maintain hospital and department policies, quality assurance, safety, and infection control practices. Assist in case and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Maintain inventory control of supplies and reorder as necessary. Attend departmental in‑services, meetings, education, and training. Maintain compliance with competency requirements and remain current with practice updates. Participate in regulatory surveys and quality improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
