Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a SHIFT SUPERVISOR for Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, FL. The position is available for full‑time and part‑time schedules, with shifts from Monday to Sunday. Location:
Florida Atlantic University – 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458. Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday: 9:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. (details to be discussed during interview). Pay:
$18.00–$20.00 per hour. Requirements:
Previous supervisory and food‑service experience required. Job Summary
Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide training and create work schedules. Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance. Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure that the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety. Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Serve as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Benefits
