Position Description Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in Journalism who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Education Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in Journalism.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Teaching experience preferred in face‑to‑face and asynchronous online classrooms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to teach Journalism at the collegiate level.

Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.

Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning.

Effective communication skills.

Excellent organizational and teaching skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations None specified.

Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required.

Work Hours Position may require non‑standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).

Salary $3,075 for each 3‑credit hour course taught.

Job Duties Educate and support students in journalism coursework.
