Overview DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Position Summary The groundskeeper has the overall responsibility of maintaining the campus grounds and all equipment used by the department in the maintenance of grounds and snow removal. The hourly rate for this position is between $15.90–$17.88.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to make independent decisions, use good judgment and demonstrate integrity
Proven ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Must be able to work overtime upon supervisor's request or workload
Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license, a clean driving record and transportation
Maintains an on‑call status for emergency problems
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability, and diversity
Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts university
Must be able to work in lifts and bucket trucks, operate forklifts, tractors, and other equipment as needed
Work in all weather conditions
Must clear criminal and drug background checks
