Job Description and Position Requirements Penn State Shenango invites applications for part-time lecturers in Criminal Justice for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Job Duties
Teach in-person classes supporting our baccalaureate programs in criminal justice, including introductory and advanced courses.
Commit to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment.
Use strategies for active and collaborative learning. Familiarity with instructional technology and online learning is an advantage.
Thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for criminal justice instructors include a master's degree in Criminal Justice or a closely-related field.
Previous college-level teaching experience, including the instructional use of technology, is strongly preferred.
Applicants will be reviewed based on their background, experience, and educational credentials.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until vacancies are filled.
Background Checks/Clearances This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
