Job Description As a Security Officer – Media Access Control in Bishop, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security‑related incidents. Your presence and communication will create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting a secure location.

What You’ll Do

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.

Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and employees with security-related procedures.

Carry out site-specific security-related policies and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as necessary during incidents or emergencies.

Maintain a professional presence while performing all security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A guard card or security license is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
