As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) play‑based therapy.

Responsibilities
Work with children aged 2‑22 with autism and special needs in their homes, schools, or at one of our centers.
Implement ABA play‑based therapy to teach communication, socialization, and self‑help skills.
Maintain accurate client records and work collaboratively with a supervising behavior analyst.
Follow scheduled lesson plans and adapt to individual client needs.
Schedule & Compensation
Part‑time with potential to build to full‑time.
Hours: 8 am‑7 pm EST Monday‑Friday, with possible weekend and evening work.
Pay: Starting at $18.00 /hr with potential increase based on experience.
Full‑time employees earn up to 15 days paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment; part‑time employees are eligible for sick leave.
Requirements
Minimum age 18 and eligibility to work in the United States.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
Availability for a consistent weekly schedule (morning, afternoon, and/or evening).
Ability to pass a background check.
Desirable qualities: genuine desire to help children, compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, reliability, willingness to learn about autism, ABA.
Bonus: bilingual (English/Spanish), background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, or related fields; prior childcare experience; interest in behavior analysis or related careers.
Physical Requirements Physical tasks may include pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 35 pounds; moving quickly as required. Ability to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run is necessary.
