Engineered Pump Services, Inc. (EPS) is searching for a highly motivated individual to fill the full‑time position of
Machinist Apprenticeship . The Machinist Apprentice will train and work beside Machinists that have obtained their Journeyman status with the state of Wisconsin. This program is a state‑sponsored program and EPS partners with WCTC for the classroom training during working hours. Upon completion of the program, which requires 8320 hours, the apprentice will be certified as a Journeyman Machinist. Learn to:
Interpret and understand CAD drawings, machining dimensions, and tolerances
Produce precision parts from various raw metal and synthetic materials and forms
Specify and select the proper tool holders and cutting tools for each job
Oversee the set‑up, and operation of lathes, VTL’s or boring bars
Perform preventative maintenance on machine, cutting tooling, and parts
Maintain a safe work attitude to prevent on‑the‑job injuries
Communicate effectively with managers, engineers, and other machinists
Support the

High School diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills, including geometry and algebra, and mechanical aptitude
Good command of the English language
