Responsibilities
Qualitative research and analysis, including stakeholder interviews and focus groups
Event planning and logistical support for in person and virtual engagements
Agenda, report, and meeting summary development
Stakeholder mapping and outreach
Project management support (coordination, scheduling, preparation of meeting materials, etc.)
Note taking at team meetings and workshops
Policy research
Other roles related to project support not listed here
Experience and Skills
W ritten and verbal communication/engagement with diverse partners and audiences
Experience on collaborative team or willingness to engage respectfully and communicate in a timely fashion with IEN team and partners
Experience with notetaking , meeting summary development, etc.
Experience with or willingness to learn project and task management
( Preferred ) Experience planning/managing logistics for in-person workshops or events
( Preferred ) Past e xperience w orking with communities and/or Tribes
( Preferred ) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to support design of graphic and visually engaging materials for public audiences .
Time Commitment / Location 10-15 hours per week (Academic Year) with the possibility of continuing into Summer 2026. IEN's offices are based at 2400 Old Ivy Rd., though a portion of the work can be done remotely.
Pay and Eligibility This position is open to all UVA students; however, graduate students are preferred. Pay Rate: Undergrads: $17 Graduate Students $19-$21.
