Responsibilities
Under the direction of the designated leader within the Imaging Department, the Radiologic Technologist provides general diagnostic imaging services. The candidate demonstrates radiation protection and safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Maintaining equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition is expected. The technologist performs examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner, promoting the services offered at the facility.

Qualifications Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
Experience
Minimum Two (2) years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist required; acute care experience preferred.
Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
License / Certification
Active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
