Responsibilities
Create and maintain a guest‑focused environment, training team members to greet guests, presell, upsell, and suggestively sell required items.
Provide prompt, courteous customer service by discovering customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Manage food services in accordance with Department of Health and company standards.
Order products, count inventory, create and adhere to build‑to‑schedules and planograms per company standards.
Maintain inventory and waste levels in line with company expectations.
Prepare work schedules based on business needs, supervise coverage of shifts, and fill gaps as needed.
Analyze financial data to identify business opportunities and develop action plans to increase sales and profitability.
Control food cost at required levels, following approved portioning and accounting procedures.
Analyze restaurant results and trends to determine improvement actions, maintaining 100% in‑stock efficiency on top‑selling items.
Oversee and assist in preparing food items per required menus and recipes; inspect food and preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections of food service equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Respond to, report, and follow up on any employee or customer accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Maintain health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety is a top priority.
Check displays for neatness and customer appeal; ensure that authorized signs are displayed.
Maintain working relationships with vendors, monitor delivery procedures, and report any issues to management.
Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members to develop high‑performing staff.
Ensure team members are knowledgeable and trained on product offerings and promotions.
Coach and supervise team members, teaching them how to manage difficult situations, fostering a team environment.
Evaluate and apply consistent disciplinary actions on violations of company policies.
Utilize tools provided to manage the restaurant efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a neat personal appearance in accordance with company uniform and personal appearance policy.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Ensure work attendance complies with company expectations.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
Minimum age 18; two‑year degree or higher strongly preferred.
At least one year of retail, fast‑food, or sales management experience required.
Food Handlers and Food Safety Certification required by company.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven success in developing team members.
Ability to use P&L and store reports to effect change.
Strong reading and interpretation skills for rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
PDI experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Regular standing, walking, occasional climbing/balancing on a ladder or stool, kneeling or crouching.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
