We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children. At this time, we are seeking a long-term substitute for our 3-year-old class, beginning in February 2026, with the potential to stay on.
Responsibilities
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create unique, educational, and fun curricula that fit the mission and philosophy of the school
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Help with snacks and lunch, extracurricular classes, and transitions
Support parents in the potty-training process
Changing diapers
Qualifications
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children and parents
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education, with more planned to be completed
Be able to pass a fingerprint and background check
Professional, energetic, empathetic, works well with others
Hourly Rate based on qualifications, experience, and training. Please provide references with a resume.
