Front Of House (Golf) – Part-time City of Mont Belvieu, Texas is currently accepting applications for a part‑time Golf Front of House position at the Eagle Point Golf Club in the Parks & Recreation Department. The City of Mont Belvieu is a growing community located on IH‑10 east of Houston, Texas in Chambers County.

Position Summary The Eagle’s Nest at Eagle Pointe Golf Club offers opportunities for experienced restaurant and catering staff. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the cash register, expediting food orders, taking and packaging to‑go orders, and ensuring the dining room and service area meet the highest standards in cleanliness and sanitation. In addition to daily duties, the Food & Beverage department manages event and catering operations at the facility, including The Pavilion and The Nichols Room. Restaurant staff perform room setup, deliver and serve food in a buffet setting, and clean up after events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reports directly to Food & Beverage Coordinator.

Greet guests upon arrival.

Operate cash register and manage cash till.

Expedite food orders.

Package to‑go orders.

Take call‑in orders.

Package and expedite daily catering orders.

Setup for events, which may include putting out linens and place settings, arranging table placement, putting up a buffet.

Clean up after the event’s conclusion, including breaking down tables and taking down linens.

Operate beverage cart as required.

Communicate effectively with staff and customers.

Check and follow daily prep list.

Follow all policies and procedures.

Maintain cleanliness, organization and rotation of all areas, products and supplies.

Communicate with supervisor regularly.

Attend all required meetings and events.

Stay punctual and prepared for all shifts.

Respond quickly in the event of an emergency.

Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Eagle’s Nest and special event demands.

Work independently, effectively manage own time and multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑production environment.

Notify the Food & Beverage Coordinator of any situations relating to quality, customer service, safety, productivity, security or any other situation that may adversely affect The Eagle’s Nest.

Perform and all other related duties or assignments as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Must possess a valid Texas Driver License.

Food Handler’s Certificate.

TABC Certification.

Successful candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, job‑related physical and background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to the area of responsibility.

Knowledge of City policies and procedures.

Thorough knowledge of hazards, safety rules and regulations applicable to area of responsibility.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; present information and respond to questions from managers and the general public.

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages).

Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.

Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
