Imaging Receptionist Per Diem
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Imaging Receptionist to join our team in Springville, NY. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will provide exceptional patient care, ensure excellent communication, and support our medical team.
Pay Range Base pay: $18.15/hr – $19.95/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities
Greet patients and families in a warm, welcoming manner; answer questions and address concerns.
Verify patient information, prepare charts and medical records, and maintain accurate records.
Schedule appointments, exams, and procedures, and ensure timely and efficient patient flow.
Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the Imaging Department.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a medical office and/or reception; imaging experience preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance billing procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Adaptability to changing situations and priorities.
