Role Description Per diem, on‑site role located in Miami Beach, FL, for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). The technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, administer treatment modalities such as CPAP/BiPAP, monitor patient responses, and ensure proper equipment calibration and functionality. Collaboration with healthcare teams to provide accurate data and excellent patient care is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform polysomnographic testing and related diagnostic procedures.
Administer and monitor CPAP/BiPAP and other therapeutic modalities.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot sleep study equipment.
Collect and analyze patient data for accurate reporting.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards.
Qualifications
Expertise in polysomnography and sleep disorder diagnostics.
Strong knowledge of sleep medicine and related conditions.
Experience in respiratory therapy and patient care.
Proficiency with sleep study equipment and technical troubleshooting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced medical setting.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential or eligibility preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
