Compensation & Schedule

Drivers earn $70,000 – $75,000 per year.

$7,000 sign‑on bonus.

Full‑time company driver.

4‑day work schedule (subject to change).

Dispatch between 3 pm – 5 pm.

Driver routes are home‑daily.

Responsibilities

Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip), inspect tractor/trailer per DOT regulations, report any safety issues.

Follow all DOT regulations and company safe‑driving guidelines and policies.

Immediately report safety hazards; inspect trailer for proper loading and secure freight.

Count items, verify invoices, and complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.

Move tractor to loading dock and attach pre‑loaded trailer as needed.

Drive to and deliver customer orders according to schedule, unload products, and transport them to designated storage areas.

Perform damage‑control checks, scan items, and contact supervisor for removal of orders as per policy; verify delivery and obtain signatures; collect cash or checks when required.

Load customer returns onto trailer, secure doors, and ensure all equipment and freight are locked or secured.

Unloading damaged goods and returns, bring to driver check‑in and complete necessary paperwork; keep trailers clean and trash removed.

Record daily hours of service and enter them in the log per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.

Maintain housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, keep trailers clear and clean; at shift end, secure all equipment and complete paperwork.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

1+ year of driving tractor‑trailer experience.

Valid CDL‑A.

Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.

Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.

Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Pass road test.

Attain or hold current DOT Health Card or ability to secure new one.

Ability to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move or stack product cases/freight weighing between 10‑35 pounds up to 60‑90 pounds as needed.
