Drivers make an average of $82,000 - $110,000 per year with overtime and incentives; increased pay for experienced drivers and weekly incentive (Weight Pay).

Position Details 4-5 day work week, weekends off.

Position Purpose Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Drivers ensure products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, serving as the face of the company and building lasting customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.

Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; report all safety hazards.

Inspect trailer for proper loading and secured freight.

Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices of loaded products.

Complete all required freight paperwork accurately and legibly.

Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.

Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.

Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas.

Perform damage control checks on items, scan, and notify supervisor of order removal per company policy.

Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.

Collect money (cash or checks) where required.

Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors.

Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured.

Unload damaged goods and customer returns, bring to driver check‑in, and complete necessary paperwork.

Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.

Complete daily record of hours of service and log entry per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.

Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required. At shift end secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

Valid CDL‑A.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).

Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.

Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Pass road test.

Attain or possess a valid current DOT Health Card and/or secure a new DOT Health Card.

Able to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases and freight of varying size and weight (10‑35 lbs commonly, up to 60‑90 lbs depending on location).
