Food Service – Per Diem
Location:
Hampton Behavioral Health Center, Westampton, New Jersey. 120‑bed acute care psychiatric hospital offering inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.
Responsibilities Support mission‑driven behavioral health services by ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in kitchen, dining, and storage areas. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Job Duties
Assist in general cleanup of kitchen, dining room, and storage areas, including refrigerated storage.
Maintain cleanliness for all cooking utensils and associated equipment.
Advise Food Service Manager of any irregularities with food preparation, availability of food items/supplies, and failure of equipment.
Collect and stack dirty dishes, wash dishes, and clean work area.
Perform tray line duties: read menu cards to determine items, place items such as utensils, napkins, condiments on trays, prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
High school graduate or GED certification.
Minimum of one year previous experience preferred.
