Job Description 3rd Shift Clean Up Crew
– Pay Rate Between $24.38 and $27.38
Clean pig bed and transfer ladle pits and any other areas assigned by supervisor.
Work with supervisor if ladles need to be repaired before the production run.
Communicate supervisor/s on issues that arise.
Ensure all machines are clean and ready for production time startups—puller beds, machine beds, ladle areas, and walkways.
Ensure up‑and‑over area and ladles on machines are timely to meet time hacks.
Follow cleanup check sheets and hand to finishing department nightly.
Plant Maintenance
Coordinate with supervisor/s when tasks arise (e.g., crane usage for cleaning).
Communicate work orders promptly to the maintenance department (Casting, Hotline, Cement line, Paint line).
Assist in signing lockout/tagout (LOTO) forms for maintenance employees.
Safety
Complete monthly safety requirements.
Complete safety paperwork assigned from all departments that cannot be completed during production hours.
Qualifications
Must be able to interact with all personnel levels.
Must work with others in a professional, respectful manner.
Ability to read policies and procedures.
Ability to follow all work directives and safety procedures.
Must be a self‑starter.
Must be able to read and understand English.
