Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced motivated IT Support Technician to join our IT team. This individual will serve as our in-house IT point of contact and be responsible for maintaining the company’s computer and network systems as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks and assisting employees with IT‑related problems. This position is onsite at our Clarksville, TN facility.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as first point of contact for IT support within the organization
Install and provide technical support for software applications and operating systems
Perform network backups and coordinate disaster recovery efforts
Plan, organize and track projects
Work both independently and as part of a team
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues and repair or replace damaged computer and network components
Read, understand and comply with the department’s policies, procedures, guidelines and practices relating to network and security standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation for supported systems
Provide excellent customer service and support employees whenever they encounter issues with computers and network devices
Maintain and update computer and network equipment to track warranty, upgrades and replacement devices
Ensure all applicable employees are issued the correct and/or standard computer equipment in a timely manner
Perform any other duties as assigned

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT and programming software
Time Management Skills – ability to work independently and complete tasks effectively
Problem‑Solving – strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address maintenance challenges effectively
Communication – effective communication skills to collaborate with other departments and external partners
Attention to Detail – detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and safety in all maintenance activities
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Two (2) or Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in an IT role providing network support including installation, maintenance and/or support of network hardware, software, virtual servers, backups and MS Active Directory
One or more certifications from a network training program such as CCNA/CCDP, MCSDE/MCSA, MCP‑Network, Network+
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; assistance required for anything over 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders, walk long distances, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, push and pull heavy objects
Ability to be on call as needed
Work in uncontrolled hot and cold environments
Ability to reach or grip with arms and hands
