Schedule : Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities Provide care and contribute to the welfare of patients and families through support of the standards and philosophies of Genesis. Manage incoming patient referrals, hospital discharge follow‑ups (new and existing patients), obtain all medical records necessary for upcoming appointments, and triage appointments as clinically indicated.
Qualifications
Education: High school plus up to 1 year of additional coursework
Special Training: Basic Life Support; Medical Office Procedures
Training Preferred: ICD and CPT code knowledge
Licensure/Registration: LPN in Iowa & Illinois or Certified Medical Assistant within 6 months of hire
Experience: More than 1 year required
Interpersonal Skills: Interaction with a variety of people inside or outside the organization; communications of moderate difficulty and sensitivity; dealing with moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters
Working Conditions: Limited exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental conditions; some health and safety risks; may require safety equipment and precautions; possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens: Yes
