Schedule:
Swing shift (5:00 pm – 1:30 am). Hours may vary.
Position Description Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, perform various housekeeping duties within University Apartments, including:
Sweep and mop floors; operate trash compactor, street sweeper, carpet extractor, and floor machines.
Collect and dispose trash and recyclable items; clean restrooms and recharge supplies.
Dust and wax furniture; vacuum and shampoo carpet; wash walls and clean Venetian blinds.
Perform floor restoration, stripping, waxing, and polish brass, chrome, and other metal fixtures in restrooms, offices, and apartment units.
Ensure all entry doors and inside office doors are secure.
Provide customer service to residents and report suspect individuals or circumstances to campus police or supervisor.
Complete other duties as assigned.
